DHU announces 8 winning twinnings and launches its first webinar

Digital Health Uptake (DHU) is thrilled to kick off the year by announcing the selection of 8 twinnings under the DHU accelerator work strand, which directly supports the replication and scaling up of successful and highly impactful digital health and care solutions in Europe. 

Twinnings are a mechanism for facilitating the transfer and implementation of digitally-enabled innovative practices from one region to another. The approach has been successfully tested in a number of EU projects and studies, including the ScaleAHA study and DigitalHealthEurope. Now, within DHU, 8 dynamic twinnings have been awarded to implement their activities over the next 3 to 6 months. 

On 5 February, the first webinar with the winning twinnings took place. Coordinated and organised by empirica, the webinar focused on the challenges, objectives, teams, and planned activities of the different twinning initiatives, setting the stage for fruitful collaboration ahead! As part of the session, EHTEL launched a needs assessment survey, which will enable our team to offer tailored capacity-building sessions to the participating organizations. 

What are the next steps? 

Moving forward, EHTEL will arrange customized training sessions to enhance capacity-building efforts. RSCN will provide consistent monitoring and support. It will organize informative webinars towards the end of the projects, and assist in preparing interim and final reports. Moreover, twinnings can look forward to collaborating with iHD on producing executive digests on common-interest topics.
