Short description
The Digital Health Strategy until 2029 is directed as an informative report, as it includes general principles, explanations and other information that can be used in practice by any medical institution, company that develops digital solutions to ensure a common understanding and vision of all parties involved in digital health on the national priorities of digital health, their further development and thus promote the cooperation of the state administration, medical institutions and industry in ensuring data availability and compatibility and developing digital services. The period of operation of the strategy is set until 2029, because the main source of investment for the strategy is the funding of the EU structural funds for the 2021-2027 planning period, the deadline for which is 31.12.2029. Other health sector development planning documents, such as plans, may include digital health measures to improve disease prevention and health care in a specific health area. The strategy defines the directions and tasks of the digital transformation of the health sector in order to ensure that in the guidelines of the Public Health Policy 2021-2027 the achievement of the public health policy goals set for 2021-2027, as well as the Digital Transformation Guidelines 2021-2027 performance of tasks for the year.
