Short description
The “eHealth Switzerland 2.0 Strategy” accompanies the spread of the electronic patient record (EPR). It is therefore not a comprehensive strategy to accompany the digital transformation of the healthcare system. This is also reflected in the duration from 2018 to 2024*, which at the same time meets the deadlines of Federal law on electronic patient records is taken into account. Digitalization is also making steady progress in the healthcare system. This strategy is intended to help ensure that this development can be designed to the greatest possible benefit for patients and all those involved in the treatment process. As in the “eHealth Switzerland Strategy” from 2007, the focus should be on people – and not just technology.
