Short description
Tele rehabilitation for people with respiratory conditions in Wales:
– Use video conferencing to deliver remote Pulmonary Rehabilitation across the health board. Utilise telemedicine and a hub and spoke model initially for pulmonary rehabilitation. Start small – plan big
– Use current staff (Band 4 technicians, Band 7 OT and Physiotherapist and Band 3 Exercise technician) with minimal increased work load
– Use (unused) space in community hospitals, or large GP practices sites where suitable areas for exercise are available
Solution has been piloted in West Wales across three counties in West Wales.

Proof of concept is available: it works in a test setting and the potential end-users are positive about the concept
